A song in my heart and lyrics in my head.

There are moments where I am not cool, calm, and collected. Sometimes I wish I had the courage to say what I am feeling, what I am thinking, or what I wish I could do. Words may escape me, but with music, that just isn't so. Music gives me the courage to speak up. Music encourages, music brightens up my day, and allows my heart to sing. If I ever play music around you, know that you make me comfortable, make me happy, and I thank you so much for that.

Life is funny, isn't it?  Sometimes I feel as though I have it all figured out, then bam! New things arise and I'm left scrambling to get my life back together. The best thing I have done for myself this year is to learn to say "no", and to stand up for myself. I will no longer be the person people can walk over. If  I feel uncomfortable in a setting, I leave. If someone upsets me, I won't talk to them anymore. To most this may not seem like a big deal, but to me, this is everything.
