Life is what you make of it.

I'm not quite sure where to even begin. As usual, it's been months since I've written.sometimes I wonder if I should delete this blog, since I'm not faithful to it. But I do like to go back, re-read my posts, and remember what my life was like, what I was feeling, or if anyone inspired me to write anything down.

I'll bring you up to speed on my life in the past few months. I'm moving back to Austin in the next few days, and although I know this is the best thing for me, this is what I've wanted for months, I'm scared. I'm nervous. What if I move back and it's the worst thing I've ever done? What if I move back, and I fail at my job? What if my old friends moved on? What if no one has time to see me? What if the film community doesn't welcome me back with open arms? There are so many "what ifs". But...life is crazy and beautiful and gorgeous all at once, and I'm ready to see what it has to offer.

This will be a life-changing job for me. Career-wise, sure. But now I'll be able to travel, go on day-trips, and explore more. I'll be able to try new things, push limits, who knows...maybe go sky diving like I've always wanted to.

I've always said "life is what you make of it". What kind of life do you want to live? I want adventure. I want fire. I want to be able to see the most wonderful and beautiful things on earth, and I  want them to take my breath away. And it all starts here. It all starts now.

Life is funny, isn't it?  Sometimes I feel as though I have it all figured out, then bam! New things arise and I'm left scrambling to get my life back together. The best thing I have done for myself this year is to learn to say "no", and to stand up for myself. I will no longer be the person people can walk over. If  I feel uncomfortable in a setting, I leave. If someone upsets me, I won't talk to them anymore. To most this may not seem like a big deal, but to me, this is everything.
